Calcium Copper Titanium Oxide (CCTO) is available as a 99.9 pure (metals basis) powder in batch quantities. This material has attracted considerable interest due to its extremely high dielectric constant (literature values reported between 10,000 and 100,000). CCTO has a cubic structure and no known phase changes down to very low temperatures. An additional advantage is that the material is lead-free. These features make CCTO a very attractive option for applications in microelectronics such as capacitors and memory devices. CCTO's high dielectric constant also enhances the possibility of further miniaturization of components. Lorad Chemical uses an in-house proprietary manufacturing process to produce batch quantities of consistently high-purity low micron or a nano-structured powder.
