Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Lorad manufactures complex oxide powders used in solid oxide fuel cell and other high temperature electrochemical systems. The portfolio includes electrolyte and electrode related compositions such as lanthanum strontium gallium magnesium oxide, LSGM, gadolinium strontium cobaltite, calcium yttrium manganite, lanthanum cerium manganite, bismuth oxide, and other mixed conducting or ionically conductive oxides. These materials rely on carefully controlled cation ratios and phase formation to produce the intended transport and thermal properties. Lorad can manufacture established compositions or develop substituted and customer specified oxides for SOFC research, component qualification, and scale up.
