Catalysts

Lorad manufactures specialty inorganic materials used in heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst precursor systems, and catalytic materials research. The catalog includes compounds such as cobalt molybdate, bismuth iron molybdate, cerium oxide, copper sulfides, barium pyrophosphate, and other transition metal oxides and sulfides used in catalytic systems. These materials are commonly selected where oxidation state, phase composition, surface chemistry, and metal stoichiometry are important to catalytic behavior. Lorad can manufacture established catalyst compositions or develop custom oxide, sulfide, phosphate, and mixed metal formulations to meet customer specific chemical and physical requirements.
